A seminar on Youth and Land as part of the discussions on agrarian issues will be organised in Bogor, Aug 10 2017.
Keynote speaker is Benjamin White, the professor of Rural Sociology at the ISS, the Hague, the Netherlands. Speaking about “Youth, Land and Farming Futures”, Prof. White will talk about the generational problems in smallholders farming, the de-skilling youth, and employment situations with cases from various countries.
Asian perspectives on Youth and Land will also be presented by RMI of Indonesia, AFA of the Phillipines, Ekta Parishad of India, FNN of Cambodia and CDA of Bangladesh.
